
EZ-Accu Shot? Starved Cells
日本藥典JP里面提到需要對R2A瓊脂進(jìn)行培養(yǎng)基促生長實(shí)驗(yàn),JP里面說在進(jìn)行實(shí)驗(yàn)之前需要用“挨餓”3天的菌株進(jìn)行挑戰(zhàn)實(shí)驗(yàn)。
為了簡化和加快R2A瓊脂的促生長實(shí)驗(yàn),我們發(fā)明了EZ-Accu Shot? Starved Cells系列產(chǎn)品。
這種被測試過的菌株已經(jīng)在凍干之前進(jìn)行了“挨餓”,每取1ml涂布于R2A瓊脂上后,可以符合在R2A瓊脂上恢復(fù)生長為50-200CUF/個平板。
關(guān)于“挨餓”的個人理解:由于R2A瓊脂平板是用于檢測純化水中的細(xì)菌含量,而純化水中含有的細(xì)菌一般是需要極少營養(yǎng)物質(zhì)就可以存活的,所以需要讓菌株在無營養(yǎng)環(huán)境下待3天,也就是“挨餓3天”,模擬純化水中的寡樣細(xì)菌,以便達(dá)到最佳的R2A促生長實(shí)驗(yàn)效果。
Laboratories following Japanese Pharmacopeia (JP) guidelines know the challenges of performing Media Growth Promotion Testing on R2A agar. The JP states that R2A media should be challenged with strains that have been starved for 3 days prior to conducting the test. To simplify and accelerate test procedures for growth promotion of R2A agar, we have developed EZ-Accu Shot? Starved Cells. These test-ready control strains have been starved prior to lyophilization and deliver the required concentration of 50-200 CFU per inoculum on R2A media.
